Sevabharathi Tamilnadu motivates people to care deeply for their environment. Villagers and town-dwellers alike are encouraged to plant more trees and urged to stop contaminating water resources. Frequent campaigns are conducted to communicate these ideas. Saplings are distributed on important occasions to people to increase the greenery around. Practising what they preach, Sevabharathi volunteers also plant trees in large numbers and nurture them personally.
