Government General Hospital, Nagapattinam was completely ravaged by Tsunami and then it was revamped.

Seva Bharathi camp volunteers reached the hospital to render service.

You can see Garbages everywhere. Stinging smell-dirties and strains. About 400 men and woekrs by terms/groups attended all sections of the hospital. General ward, Maternity ward, Outpatient wards, Canteen, Reception lawns and lanes

Inspired by the action of the Seva Bharathi volunteers the local people also joined them.

What a surprise? Within 3 hours the entire hospital wore a new look. In the words of the Dean of the Hospital:

“Usually people will come in large number they will take some photos and will go. But the work of Seva Bharathi is deeper and wider. By seeing Seva Bharathi Volunteer having a soft approach, hard work put in by them even the Hospital Staff were inspired and they also joined with the Seva Bharathi Volunteers.”
